A self-hosted invoicing tool for freelancers, consultants, and small businesses. Create professional invoices with line items, tax, discounts, and partial payments; track clients and their billing history; share invoice URLs with clients; and export print-ready PDFs.

FAQ

Do I need MySQL?

No. Invoices and clients are stored in JSON. Just upload to PHP hosting.

How does PDF export work?

The PDF view uses browser-native print-to-PDF — open the invoice, click Print, choose "Save as PDF". No external library, no API limits, works offline.

Can clients pay online?

Not yet in v1.0 — payment gateway integration (Razorpay, PayPal, Stripe) is on the roadmap. For now, mark invoices as paid manually after receiving payment.

Does it support recurring invoices?

Not in v1.0. Recurring invoices + auto-emailing are planned for v1.1.

Can I customize the invoice template?

Yes — edit pdf.php and i.php to change the layout, colors, or add your logo. Brand color is configurable from the admin panel.

Can I import existing clients?

Yes — clients are stored in data/clients.json. You can write a script to bulk-import from CSV (documented in README).

Are updates free?

Yes — all future updates are free for life.
